Lansing District Food Pantries

Lansing USD 469 is dedicated to supporting our community through two important food pantry initiatives.

Lion’s Pantry at Lansing Middle School provides essential food assistance to families within the middle school community. If you are in need of support, please contact Shirley Painton at 913-727-1197. Click here for more information about Lansing Middle School Lion's Pantry.

District Food Pantry, located at Lansing Intermediate School, is designed to support all families across our district. This pantry is managed by our District Mental Health Team. To request assistance, please complete the District Food Pantry Request Form. Donations for the District Food Pantry can be dropped off in the blue bins located at the main entries of the elementary, intermediate, and high schools. Our partners at Lansing Kiwanis are collecting donations at Dillon's, and our LINCS students are actively involved in sorting and fulfilling food requests.

Your contributions and support are vital to the success of these programs, and we are grateful for your generosity.

Lansing Kiwanis is helping collect donations at Dillon's, and our LINCS (Learning Independence in Natural Community Settings) students are helping with sorting the food and filling requests. If you are willing and able to donate to the new District Food Pantry, you can drop off the food items in the blue bins in the elementary, intermediate, and high school main entries.
