Hello! I’m Lindsay Lovejoy, the new school psychologist. I will be serving both the intermediate and middle school. I can’t wait to get started and work with you all! I received my Ed.S. from the University of Kansas, and prior to Lansing, was the school psychologist at Linwood and Glenwood Ridge elementary schools in Basehor.
For a brief background, prior to school psychology, I was a web and graphic designer/developer for eight years––this gives me a lot of experience working with technical data and explaining in ways clients (parents!) can understand. Each summer, I work at Applied Learning Processes, a clinic for students with learning disabilities. I've often helped paras and teachers with ways to incorporate gamified ways to work on practicing words, so feel free to ask if you need ideas!
