We're very pleased to have a veteran educator joining our ranks to be our building sub for this school year. Mr. Dougherty's primary role will be to sub in classrooms that do not have an assigned sub. When he is not doing that, he will be assisting our students and staff throughout the building!

Hello, my name is Bruce Dougherty, and I will be starting at Lansing Intermediate School as a building substitute. I grew up in western Kansas, went to school to be a teacher, and enjoyed 25 years teaching English Language Arts in middle school. I am married to Suzanne, and we have the joy of our lives in our son, Jacob. I love to be outdoors, travel and be a weekend farmer. I am looking forward to join the Lansing community.
