The Lansing Educational Foundation enhances the excellence in the learning environment in partnership with the schools and the community.
The Lansing Educational Foundation was founded in 2004 with 11 Charter Members. These members desired the Lansing Board of Education to establish a foundation for the School District. To pursue excellence in education, the Foundation is now governed by a 21-member Board of Directors with the support of a part-time director and the district superintendent. With a focus on educational excellence in academics and fine arts, the Foundation offers additional opportunities for Lansing students through grants to district staff and special projects.
