Bocce

Lansing students made their mark at the Unified Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament last Saturday, February 22, at Lawrence High School!

The event brought together students from Lansing Middle School (LMS), Lansing High School (LHS), and LINCS, who competed in teams alongside their peers. Representing LMS were Colby Whitlow, Jayden Whitlow, Emmett Wingerd, Konnor Knight, and Brie Hope, while LHS students Anthony Brown-Henley, Declan Nauman, Laine Durler, Christian Meadows, Canyon Meadows, Jeremiah Jenkins, Titus Adebiyi, and Bentley Kolin joined the action. Karl Burland represented LINCS in the competition.

Their hard work paid off, with one team earning a silver medal and two teams bringing home gold—a fantastic achievement for all involved! Beyond the competition, this tournament exemplified the power of inclusion, teamwork, and community, values at the heart of Unified Sports.

Congratulations to our athletes for their outstanding performances!
