Lansing High School’s math team showcased their exceptional skills at the United Kansas Conference (UKC) Math Competition, earning an impressive 2nd place overall—just two points shy of the top spot!
In addition to their outstanding team finish, Lansing students excelled in individual subject categories, demonstrating their strong mathematical abilities:
Algebra II – 1st Place: Rachel Dowty, Tobias Yoakam, Shane Ziolkowski
Pre-Calculus/Advanced Algebra – 1st Place: Elizabeth Tanner, Owen Kannaday, Christopher Klingman
Geometry – 3rd Place: Avery Conley, Laney Chastin, Gabriel Njoku
Statistics – 3rd Place: Jacob Dennis, Emily Ortega, Alexis Handy
