Christopher Klingman

Lansing School District is pleased to recognize Christopher Klingman as Student of the Month. Nominated by a previous teacher, Christopher stands out for his kindness, patience, and thoughtfulness toward others. His former teacher describes him as an 'outstanding human' who always seemed to have a calm, thoughtful presence in class.

She had this to say about him:

'Christopher made an impact on me five years ago, and his name still comes to mind when thinking about a student to recognize. Sitting in my 6th grade room, when we came to class discussions, I could tell that Christopher had an opinion. Christopher would wait patiently as his peers were vying to have their voices heard. It always appeared that when Christopher made his comment, either the class would all harmoniously agree or the class discussion would end. When he made the class discussions end, it seemed as though Christopher dropped the mic and walked off stage.'

And this impact has only grown over the years. His teacher went on to say:

'This past summer, I had the opportunity to see Christopher again at Strength and Conditioning. He is exactly the same person I remembered five years ago, just a lot taller. Christopher is one (of many) students Lansing should be proud to have in its district.'

Christopher, your kindness and respect for others create a ripple effect that enhances our school community. We are proud to have you as a member of our district.
