By sharing their journey, they'll inspire current students and fellow alums while highlighting our graduates' diverse paths.


Mallory Harris, Class of 2021

Question: What is your current job title, and where do you work?

Answer:  Teacher at TinyTots Christian Childcare Center ( 3 years )

Question: What is your educational background (Colleges, CTE, trade, etc) after Lansing?

Answer: Senior at Missouri Western State University

Question: What are some career highlights or personal achievements you would like to share?

Answer: I am working on finishing my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development

Question: How did your education in our school district influence your career or personal growth?

Answer: I learned from my time at Lansing that I always wanted to be a teacher or work with young kids because all of my teachers have inspired me to become who I am today.

Question: Do you have any fond memories or stories from your time at our school district that you’d like to share?

Answer: I remember when we had to Zoom part of my Senior year and I was also a teaching assistant for a US History class. I remember the teacher letting me take the lead when there was a sub in teach the class over Zoom and in the classroom.

Question: What advice would you give to current students who are preparing for their future?

Answer: Advice I would give to future and current students is that keep chasing your dreams, allow yourself to grow, and that it’s ok to ask for help because there is always going to be someone willing to help you achieve your goals and dreams.
