In March, Lansing High School art students took a field trip to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. Accompanied by their art teacher, Mr. Jason Barnes, students had the opportunity to experience firsthand the power and beauty of visual art across a wide variety of cultures and time periods.
The museum visit served as both an educational and creative experience, allowing students to observe masterpieces in person, explore artistic techniques, and deepen their appreciation for the visual arts. Exposure to such an expansive collection of artwork supports classroom learning and helps young artists find new sources of inspiration.
