The Lansing Early Childhood Center received a heartwarming surprise on Tuesday, February 11th, thanks to the kindness of a generous Dillons employee in Leavenworth.
Earlier that day, a Dillons staff member called the Early Childhood Center to ask how many employees worked in the building. The reason? They wanted to bring Valentine’s gifts to brighten the day of our hardworking staff.
The team at Dillons delivered more than 60 long-stem red roses, each wrapped with greenery, to share with our staff members. When they learned there were extra roses, they encouraged the school to give the remaining flowers to the children.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dillons for their generosity and for making Valentine’s Day extra special at our Early Childhood Center!
