Watch DOGS

Lansing Elementary School recently hosted a successful WatchDOGS (Dads of Great Students) event, welcoming approximately 100 fathers, grandfathers, and father figures. The gathering resulted in over 30 individuals signing up to participate in the program!

The WatchDOGS program is designed to encourage male role models to actively participate in students' educational experiences. By volunteering, these men contribute to a positive school environment and provide additional support to both students and staff.

The event featured an overview of the WatchDOGS program, highlighting its objectives and the positive impact of male involvement in education. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the various ways they can contribute, from assisting in classrooms to participating in school activities."

The school is looking forward to integrating the new WatchDOGS volunteers into daily activities, aiming to build a supportive and enriching environment for all students.
