Staff Appreciation - November

November was a month of gratitude in our district as we celebrated two vital groups within our educational community: the Parents as Teachers organization and our substitute teachers.

Parents as Teachers: Guiding Families from the Start
Our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program plays a critical role in the lives of families across the district. By providing resources, support, and education, PAT helps parents become their child’s first and most important teacher. From early childhood milestones to preparing little ones for their educational journey, PAT staff are champions of early learning and parental engagement.

This November, we honored their dedication to strengthening families and setting students up for lifelong success. Their efforts embody our district’s commitment to the Whole Child Approach to Learning, ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.

Substitute Teachers: Keeping Learning Alive
Substitute teachers are the unsung heroes who ensure continuity in learning when regular classroom teachers are unavailable. Whether stepping in for a day or a week, our substitutes bring professionalism, adaptability, and care to the classroom.

They are an integral part of our district’s mission, exemplifying collaboration and communication as they navigate diverse classrooms and maintain a stable learning environment for our students. In November, we took time to recognize their flexibility, hard work, and dedication to our schools.

A Heartfelt Thank You
To both our Parents as Teachers team and substitute teachers: thank you for your remarkable contributions. You enrich our district and make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and families.
