USD 469 Lansing has earned recognition from the Kansans Can Star Recognition Program in multiple categories! This program, created by the Kansas State Department of Education, honors school districts across Kansas that excel in preparing students for success.

Here are some highlights of USD 469 Lansing’s achievements:

  • High School Graduation – Bronze Award

  • Academically Prepared for Postsecondary – Copper Award

  • Postsecondary Success – Bronze and Copper Awards

  • Social-Emotional Growth – Bronze Award

The Kansans Can Star Recognition Program evaluates districts on both quantitative measures (such as high school graduation rates) and qualitative measures (like social-emotional growth and civic engagement), rewarding the hard work that goes into preparing each student for their future.

A special message from Kansas Commissioner of Education Randy Watson celebrates USD 469 Lansing’s role in helping Kansas lead the world in student success: “The 2024-25 school year is off to a great start, and that is because of USD 469 Lansing’s efforts to educate students at a very high level… USD 469 Lansing has been doing great work with students that deserves to be recognized.”
