Nutrition Services

Lunch menus are designed to provide one-third of the student’s Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for essential nutrients. Lunch menus are also monitored to be sure the average for total fat does not exceed 30% of calories and the average for saturated fat does not exceed 10% of calories.

The Food Service department provides your school with a variety of daily entrée choices, which include main menu items, as well as salad entrées, pizza or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. There are also multiple self-serve fruit and vegetable choices available each day. Beverage choices of 1% chocolate, fat-free strawberry, 1% low-fat white milk or water are included with K-12 student lunches daily.

A “student lunch” consists of one entrée choice, fruit and/or vegetable selections and a beverage choice. Students may choose which items they would like to select or decline each day. However, if a student does not make the required selections that constitute a “student lunch”, the total meal cost may be more than the student meal price, as each item will be charged at the a la carte prices.

Monthly menus are available on the district website and are subject to change due to availability.

Each building provides a full breakfast menu! Breakfast is available to everyone prior to the start of the school day.

Our schools offer a selection of a la carte items. It is important that you and your student discuss the options. A la carte items are purchased in addition to the student meal. Students must have money on their account or have cash in order to make an a la carte purchase. Prices for additional a la carte items vary.
